Gastec Pyrotec Pyroliser GAS860
Description
GASTEC developed the Pyrotec Pyrolyzer system to enable precise and easy detection of Sulphuryl Fluoride. It converts Sulphuryl Fluoride (using a process known as thermal cracking) into an easily measurable gas.
Conventionally, measurements of these gases have required expensive equipment and skilled specialists.
The Gastec Pyrotec Pyrolyzer System has made this monitoring easy and economical by combining detector tube technology and a portable pyrolyzer.
The Gastec Pyrotec Pyrolyzer is connected to a Gastec Sampling Pump (sold separately).
- When the handle of the Gas Sampling Pump is pulled, the sample will first pass through the pretreatment tube
- Interfering organic vapours are removed
- Then enter into the Pyrotec where they are thermally decomposed into substances that can be easily measured by the Pyrotube
- Finally enter into the Pyrotube where the by-products of the pyrolysis react chemically with the reagent
