Wireless OdaLog Logger RTx H2S 0-200ppm
Description
The OdaLog is specifically designed for the Wastewater Industry, primarily for locating at or close to the source of Hydrogen Sulphide emissions.
The OdaLog RTx H2S Gas Logger is the next generation of OdaLogs which uses a built-in GSM modem to transmit logged H2S data to an FTP site for remote access using OdaStat–G software, allowing for remote monitoring of data from collection lines and treatment plants.
The RTx is designed specifically for harsh sewer environments, based on the proven OdaLog technology.
Using an external surface mount antenna, data can be transmitted out of cast iron manholes.
SMS text messages can be sent when user-programmable alarms are met. Wireless transmission of H2S gas concentration data is sent via a GPRS sim card to the internet. A data sim card is required and monthly data charges apply.
Note: The RTx is pending ATEX rating
The data can be accessed globally through the use of OdaStat-G software with the proper user name and password. Instrument parameters may be changed via bi-directional communication and the use of OdaStat-G software. Data can also be manually downloaded through the use of the OdaStat-G software.
Note: Sensor Recovery Time
The use of a long-life sensor allows the RTx to be deployed for up to thirty days at a time before requiring removal to allow for sensor recovery. Recovery time is equal to gas absorption
e,g. if OdaLog RTx is deployed for 30 days, recovery time in an air conditioned room is 30 days
Whilst the OdaLog has been designed for use in a wet, toxic and humid environment, the OdaLog’s gas sensors will require recovery time in what we call ‘office’ conditions (dry, air conditioned). If you require continuous datalogging, consider purchasing two OdaLogs so one can be recovering whilst the other remains in-situ. The OdaLog Dry Dock can reduce recovery time by half.

OdaStat-G needs to be purchased with an OdaLog if not already previously owned.
A Surface Mount Antenna will be required if logging is to take place beneath a cast iron manhole or in applications where data transmission requires a boost
